my father died on sept 2017 and was a security man in a govt office. my family is getting family pension from govt in the name of my mother since 2018 march. recently on october 2019 i received a call from an urban cooperative bank which says my father took a loan of 50,000 from the said bank in 2007 which i have no knowledge about it and they said it must be rapaid by me otherwise my family pension will be close until i repay. pension account is at SBI . My father died of severe illness we spend lots of money on his treatment. still my family is having poor financial conditions. Should i worry about it? i have also asked to some known persons of mine they say i need not worry as the loannee is no more .
