Shruti From Davanagere want legal help in Divorce / Marriage

Brother-in-law scolded badly , so slapped him twicely, now he has registered a 307 case, and husband applied for divorce as we both are staying away from more than 6months, in this 6months I tried contacting him but he has changed his phone number n everything. Ours is arranged marriage even his parents also changed phone number, now he is doubting on my character , as my college friend is supporting them who was loving me , but I refused him so now he is taking revenge. we have given dowry of 5lakh rupees and 180gms of gold ,now husband family members are saying we didn’t gave them penny . Please guide me like what further steps I have to take
